ABOUT MAKER’S ROW

Created for Creators

A unique pop-up space for local designers and entrepreneurs to showcase their work. Individual, customizable kiosks give small business owners the opportunity to create a flexible storefront and interact directly with new audiences, all within Berkeley’s bustling Fourth Street district. When activated, Maker’s Row transforms into a community marketplace letting visitors experience local artisans’ products as they learn their stories.

I have participated in many types of markets but come back to Maker's Row again and again. The individual kiosks (a more recent and excellent addition) enable makers to set up their own little retail store and affords so much more space and display freedom. Parking, restrooms, and cafes are all highly accessible making this show possible for solo venders. An added bonus is the overnight storage for vendors who book concurrent dates. This show is well worth the space fee, not to mention the organizer Lina is highly organized, communicative and helpful."
